LikeARebel.com ("LAR") is committed to respecting the privacy rights of users of the LAR website (the "Website").  LAR created this Privacy Policy to give you ("You" or "Your") assurance of LAR’s commitment to fair information practices and to the protection of Your privacy as You visit and use the Website (the "Privacy Policy").  LAR reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time and will provide 30 day notice on the Website for any such updates. 1. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

LAR does not solicit or knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 18.  If LAR obtains actual knowledge that it has collected personally identifiable information from a child under the age of 18, LAR will immediately delete such information from its database.

2. INFORMATION COLLECTION PRACTICES

Traffic Data: Like most website operators, LAR automatically gathers information of the sort that browsers automatically make available, including: (i) IP addresses; (ii) domain servers; (iii) types of computers accessing the Website; and (iv) types of Web browsers accessing the Website (collectively "Traffic Data").  Traffic Data is anonymous information that does not personally identify You. Personal Information: In order for You to use certain of the Website services, You will be asked to provide LAR certain information that personally identifies You ("Personal Information").  Personal Information includes, without limitation: (1) "Contact Data" (such as Your name, phone number, mailing address and e-mail address); (2) "Financial Data" (such as Your credit/debit card number, CVV/CV2 number and expiration date); and (3) "Demographic Data" (such as Your zip code).  In each case, You will be asked to provide Personal Information; the Website will not gather it surreptitiously.  LAR may supplement the Personal Information You provide with additional Personal Information gathered from public sources or from third-parties (e.g., consumer reporting agencies) who may lawfully provide such information to LAR. Web Beacons/Web Bugs: LAR may utilize a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs), that help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective.  Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to Cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users.  In contrast to Cookies, which are stored on a user's computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence.  We do not tie the information gathered by clear gifs to our customer's personally identifiable information.  Rather, we use clear gifs in our HTML-based e-mails to let us know which e-mails have been opened by recipients. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. Some of our business partners may use Cookies and Web beacons on our site. We have no access to or control over these third party tracking technologies.

LAR analyzes Traffic Data and information gathered using Cookies to help LAR better understand who is using the Website and how they are using it.  By identifying patterns and trends in usage, LAR is able to better design the Website to improve Your experience, and to serve You more relevant and interesting content and advertisements.  From time to time, LAR may release Traffic Data and information gathered using Cookies in the aggregate, such as by publishing a report on trends in the usage of the Website. LAR uses so-called "Cookies", which are files that are stored on your computer that can be retrieved to assist in customizing your experience with the online service.  The information saved supports the functionality of the site, for example by keeping track of your visual preferences or controlling the frequency of "pop-up" windows.  You are free to prevent Cookies from being saved on your hard drive by adjusting the corresponding settings in your browser.  However, we would like to point out that turning off these settings may result in limited functionality.

(b) Personal Information

LAR analyzes Traffic Data and information gathered using Cookies to help LAR better understand who is using the Website and how they are using it.  By identifying patterns and trends in usage, LAR is able to better design the Website to improve Your experience, and to serve You more relevant and interesting content and advertisements.  From time to time, LAR may release Traffic Data and information gathered using Cookies in the aggregate, such as by publishing a report on trends in the usage of the Website.  LAR does not attempt to link information gathered using Cookies to Personal Information.

(i) Generally, LAR uses Your Contact Data to send You information about LAR and LAR’s - products and services, and to contact You when necessary in connection with the products and services. LAR uses Your Financial Data to bill You.  LAR uses Your Demographic Data to customize and tailor Your experience on the Website.  As with Traffic Data and information gathered using Cookies, from time to time LAR may release Demographic Data in the aggregate, such as by publishing a report on trends in the usage of the Website.  From time to time, we post testimonials on LAR.  We receive permission to post testimonials including personally identifiable information prior to posting.

(ii) Disclosure Practices Except under the following circumstances, LAR will keep Your Personal Information private, and will not share it with third parties.


•Disclosure in Connection with products and services.  LAR discloses Personal Information to those who help it provide products and services, including those who perform technical, administrative, services and data processing tasks such as hosting, billing, fulfillment, shipping and data storage and security. •By Law or to Protect Rights.  LAR discloses Personal Information when required to do so by law, or in response to a subpoena or court order, or when LAR believes in its sole discretion that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of LAR, third-parties or the public at large.
•Business Transfers; Bankruptcy.  LAR reserves the right to transfer all Personal Information in its possession to a successor organization in the event of a merger, acquisition, or bankruptcy or other sale of all or a portion of LAR-assets.  Other than to the extent ordered by a bankruptcy or other court, the use and disclosure of all transferred Personal Information will be subject to this Privacy Policy, or to a new privacy policy if You are given notice of that new privacy policy and an opportunity to affirmatively opt-out of it.  Personal Information submitted or collected after a transfer, however, may be subject to a new privacy policy adopted by LAR - successor organization.
•Unpaid Accounts.  If You fail to pay any balance owed to LAR, LAR may, as permitted by law, report Your Personal Information, including without limitation Your unpaid balance, to consumer credit reporting services, collection agencies and others.

4. Links to Other Web Sites

The Website includes links to other websites whose privacy practices may differ from those of LAR.  If You submit personal information to any of those sites, Your information is governed by their privacy statements.   We encourage You to carefully read the privacy statement of any website You visit.

5. Facebook Connect

In the future, you may be able to log in to the Website using sign-in services such as Facebook Connect or an Open ID provider. These services will authenticate Your identity and provide You the option to share certain personal information with us such as Your name and e-mail address to pre-populate our sign up form.  Services like Facebook Connect give You the option to post information about Your activities on the Website to Your profile page to share with others within Your network.

6. Widgets

The Website includes Widgets, which are interactive mini-programs that run on our site to provide specific services from another company (e.g. displaying the news, opinions, music, etc).  Personal information, such as Your e-mail address, may be collected through the Widget.  Cookies may also be set by the Widget to enable it to function properly.  Information collected by this Widget is governed by the privacy policy of the company that created it.

7. Refer Friends

If You choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about the Website, we will ask you for Your friend's name and e-mail address.  We will automatically send Your friend a one-time e-mail inviting him or her to visit the Website.  LAR may store this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time e-mail and/or tracking the success of our referral program.  Your friend may contact us to request that we remove this information from our database.

8. CONSENT TO RECEIVE E-MAIL FROM LAR

By establishing an account with LAR, You consent to receive periodic e-mail communications from LAR concerning LAR - products and services, including without limitation, auction confirmations and newsletters. You may opt-out of receiving newsletters at any time by (a) following the unsubscribe instructions contained in each newsletter; or (c) sending an e-mail to info@likearebel.com.

9. SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

LAR has implemented and maintains generally accepted industry standards to protect against the unauthorized access, use, modification, destruction or disclosure of Your Personal Information both during transmission and once we receive it.  The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card number) on our registration, we encrypt that information using state-of-the-art technology. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

LAR assures you that we will use Your e-mail address with Your express consent only for the purposes stated in the Terms of Use.  We will not rent or sell Your e-mail address to third parties, and we will prevent Your e-mail address from being recorded by "web crawlers" or "web spiders" to the best of our ability.  If You believe that your e-mail address has been recorded in this way, please let us know immediately. 10. LOST OR STOLEN INFORMATION

You should promptly notify us if Your credit or bank information is lost, stolen or used without permission. In such an event, we will remove that credit card number or bank account information from Your account and update our records accordingly.

11. USER ABILITY TO ACCESS, UPDATE, AND CORRECT PERSONAL INFORMATION

LAR wants Your Personal Information to be complete and accurate.  By using the Website, You represent and warrant that all information You provide on any registration form or otherwise in connection with Your use of the Website and services will be complete and accurate, and that You will update that information as necessary to maintain its completeness and accuracy.  To confirm the completeness and accuracy of, or make changes to, Your Personal Information, please visit Your account profile.

12. PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES

From time to time, LAR may conduct contests, giveaways and other promotions (collectively, "Promotional Activities").  Any information submitted in connection with Promotional Activities will be treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy.  From time to time, LAR may also ask You to participate in surveys designed to help LAR improve the Website, services or products.  Any Personal Information provided to LAR in connection with any survey will be used only in relation to that survey, and will be disclosed to third-parties not bound by this Privacy Policy only in aggregated form.

13. UPDATES AND CHANGES TO PRIVACY POLICY

If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, the home page, and other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.  We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, so please review it frequently.  If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify You here, by e-mail, or by means of a notice on our home page.

14. REVOKING CONSENT/DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT

Upon Your request, we will close Your account and remove Your personal information as soon as reasonably possible, based on Your account activity and in accordance with applicable law.  We do retain personal information from closed accounts to comply with law, prevent fraud, collect any fees owed, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our General Terms and Conditions, and take other actions otherwise permitted by law. You can access, review and change most of Your personal information by logging on to LAR at any time.  However, some of your personal information can only be changed by contacting our Customer Service at info@likearebel.com.  You are required to promptly update your personal information if changes occur or information is inaccurate. You can delete or deactivate your LAR account at any time by e-mailing info@likearebel.com.  When You delete account, Your personal data is removed from our database unless we are required to save the data.  As a rule it takes two to three business days until Your information is completely removed from all records. Your LAR account and profile and the information contained therein are password protected. Please note that You are not permitted to provide your password to anyone else.  LAR will never ask for Your password in e-mails that You receive unexpectedly or that You did not request.  Please remember to log-out of Your account and to close Your internet browser window when You leave the LAR Website; this is especially important if you use a PC in public locations.  At present, this is the safest way to ensure that no one has access to Your personal information.  We assume no liability for the abuse of login data and passwords used. LAR treats data as a valuable asset that must be safeguarded and protected.  As set forth above, we use reasonable security measures to protect Your personal information against unauthorized access and disclosure.

15. PRODUCT REVIEWS

 You have the option of submitting a product review.   In order to submit a review, we will ask for your email and location whether you are registered or not. We will keep your email address private to the public, but we may show your location and login name to the public.  Any personally identifiable information will be able to be viewed by the public, therefore  we recommend using caution in writing any reviews.  We are not responsible for any personally identifiable information submitted as part of Your review.
